Privacy

Plantuse uses limited first-party audience measurement to understand aggregate traffic (page views, countries, devices, and referrers). It is not used to profile you as a person or to see what a specific account does.

Audience measurement

  • No analytics cookies and no analytics data stored in your browser — nothing to accept or refuse for measurement.
  • First-party only — no third-party ad or analytics trackers.
  • Your IP is used briefly on the server to derive a country code and an anonymous monthly visitor key, then discarded. Full IPs are never stored.
  • Measurement is not linked to your Plantuse account.
  • Rare aggregate action counts (collection adds, empty searches, sign-ups, messages) are stored without account or IP linkage.
  • Referrers are stored as site origin only (no full URL path or query).
  • Stored aggregate measurement data is deleted after at most 25 months.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and improving the site (aggregate audience statistics). Auth session cookies used when you sign in are separate and necessary to provide your account.
